8 Months

Sorry I've been slacking on blogging recently...I'll try to do better!

Anyway, Rosebud turned 8 months on the 12th. She is at such a fun stage right now and we are loving every minute with her. Rose isn't crawling yet, but she sure is trying! She scoots in circles and gets close to getting up on all fours. She is still trying to figure it all out. Personally, I am in no hurry for her to start crawling because of the stairs in our house! I know one day I will be chasing her up and down those stairs and its going to wear me out!

Rose babbles all.the.time! She's mastering several sounds including dada, tata, baba, mamama, etc... Its so cute to hear her "talking!" She has also learned how to fake cough and fake laugh. She does it to get my attention when I'm preoccupied! She also does it in the car to entertain herself (and me!)

She loves playing with all of her toys but loves Elmo the most! She smiles and looks adoringly at him like she just loves him so much.

Rose is ticklish and I can usually get her in a giggle fit by tickling her little thighs or under her arms. She also loves when I kiss her cheeks over and over. That makes her crack up.

She loooovvvees bathtime and these three little bath toys. They are just plastic fish but she wants all three in her hands at all times and is bound and determined to find a way to hold all three! Its cute to see her with one in each hand, trying to figure out how to get the 3rd.

Rose can clap and waves too! She will do it on demand sometimes.

She loves seeing her Daddy in the mornings (in bed when she has her bottle) and in the evenings when Clark comes home from work. She gets the biggest smile on her face when she sees Clark and he always makes her laugh. He is definitely the "fun" parent!
