Back in Mobile...Finally!
We are finally back in Mobile after 12 days in Tulsa. I was surprised by how quickly the days went by and I loved working in the Camille's store and learning all about the franchise operations. Clark and I had so much fun with Julia, who is our General Manager, and we got to know a lot of the people who work in the Tulsa Camille's. They kept us laughing the entire time. I seriously can't remember when I belly laughed as much as we did last week! My head and stomach hurt at times from laughing so hard.
This week, we have started hiring for all positions and we have had a great turnout. If you know of any hard-working people who need a job, please send them our way! We are hiring cashiers, sandwich makers, back of the house people, and a catering manager.
Today I had another ultrasound to check all of Rose's body parts and she looks perfect! I loved when the sweet ultrasound tech said that she had a "beautiful heart." Such a great thing to hear about our unborn daughter!!!

Camille's Training
Clark and I leave tomorrow for 12 days of training in Tulsa, OK. We are sad to leave Mobile for so long but we are excited to learn all about Camille's! While we are gone, Mom and Dad are going to oversee work on our house. We are sheetrocking Rose's room and making a storage closet in a portion of the attic. I can't wait to see the room when we return. And I am not one bit sad to see the icky wood paneling go away forever!! See you in 2 weeks!

Happy Birthday Gaylord!
Yesterday was Gaylord's birthday and we had dinner at our house to celebrate. BG and Dede came over along with Janet and Gaylord and we had a great time! In addition to managing his own business, Gaylord has been working countless hours, including nights and weekends, to help us get Camille's going. There is no way Clark and I could have done this without Gaylord's help and guidance. We are so appreciative of his time!!
We always love getting together with family and we are lucky to have Clark's sweet grandparents in our lives. They are so excited about their great-granddaughter Rose! She will make birthday parties seem even more fun :)

18 Week Ultrasound
As you all know, Clark and I had our 18 week ultrasound on Wednesday. We were thrilled to find out that we are having a little girl but we were more excited to learn that she is a healthy baby! Although she was not in the best position for the anatomy scan, the tech was able to check all of her major parts and organs and she estimated her weight to be about 9 ounces! Dr. Shields compared her to the size of a Whopper! I might need to stop by Burger King to get a better idea of what a 9 ounce baby feels like :) Since she was in an unusual position, we are going to have a second ultrasound at our next appointment on September 20. Hopefully we will get better pictures at that time as well.

Clark and I decided on a name for the little girl. Her name is Rebecca Rose Lyon and we plan to call her Rose. Although, I have found myself really liking Rebecca Rose as a double name, so I guess we will just wait until we meet her to see if she looks like a Rose or a Rebecca Rose! Rebecca is for my paternal grandmother, Rebecca Susman, and Rose is for my maternal grandmother, Rosalie Rosner. I am excited that Rose will be named after two very special people in my life. I miss both of my grandmothers and wish they could be here to meet their great-granddaughter, but I am happy their names will live on with my little girl!

One more week until we know if the little baby is a boy or a girl!! This is going to be the longest week ever. Except maybe the week before my due date :)
